Definition of Appointment

• Appointment is something said or written that use to tell about agreement for meetings. It is good to the make an appointment before you meet people.

•   Appointment is kind of expression which is used to conduct appointment

•  Appointment is the act of appointing , designating or anything fixed or established, established order or constitution ; decree ; ordinance ; direction ; order ; command : as , it is our duty to submit to the divine appointments.

• An arrangement to meet a person or be at place at a certain time.

     Here are some expressions we can use to make , accept , declining , and changing an appointment.

                      

   How to make an appointment :  

• Can I see you at 11 a.m.?
• What if we go camping this afternoon? 
•  Will you go out with me tonight?
• Would tomorrow be possible? 
•  Will you pick me up at 2 p.m. ?
• Will you pick me up at 2 p.m. ?
• Can I see you at 3 p.m. ?
• Will you go with me tonight ?
• What if we go . . . this afternoon ?
•  I’ll go to your house at 4 p.m. Is it all right ?

      How to accepting an appointment :

• ·         Great, it's a perfect time.
• ·         All right. See you there.
• ·         Sure . I love it.
• ·         That Will be fine.
• ·         O.k. i will be there on time.
• ·         O.K. I’ll be there on time
• ·         No Problem. I’m free on 3 p.m.
• ·         Good Idea
• ·         Yes, I think so

c    How to declining an appointment :

•            I'm sorry, I have another appointment
•            Sorry, I do not think so
•            I really want to, but I can not
•            I’m sorry . . ., I can’t because . . .
•          I’m afraid I have to put off our appointment because I have an urgent business to do.
•           Sorry, I can’t meet you this weekend since I have another appointment.
•           I’m sorry. I’m busy
•           I’m sorry I can’t meet you today. I have to see my dentist. Can we reschedule ?

      How to changing an appointment :

•   I'm sorry I can not meet you today. I'm very busy. We can meet another day?
•   Could We change the schedule of the meetings? 
•   What about ... .. (Wednesday at 3:00 p.m.)

1. Making Appointment

Harry      : Richie, I have a serious problem. I need to talk to you. Could we 

                 meet today?

      Harmonie :What time ?

          Harry       : After we have lunch. 

          Harmonie : OK, I'll be there on time. 

 2. Cancelling Appointment

Jason    : Hallo Pasha, could you pick me at 1 pm?

 Resa     :I'm sorry James, I can't pick you on time.I'll have lunch with  

               my mother in therestaurant. Will you wait until I come, o.k. ?

  Jason    : O.K, i wait you until you come. Thank you.
